MARY'S COSTUME

• MARY'S OUTFIT – consists of a long white dress with a blue cape sewn on. The material from which it was made is of high quality, it is soft and light. It does not restrict movement during play. The dress is loose and provides freedom of movement . It was designed to reflect the humble and virtuous nature of Mary with grace and modesty. A blue sash to tie at the waist is attached to the dress.

• WHITE HEAD COVER – is the finishing touch to the outfit. It is meant to symbolize Mary's modesty and piety. It can be secured with a headband or pins, so that it stays in place when worn. The veil adds depth and authenticity, emphasizing the overall image of the mother of Jesus.
